Dr. Michelle Saltarrelli, Adjunct University Professor and CEO
I reside in Pearland, TX with my husband and five sons ages 7-13. We are a blended, Murdock-Saltarrelli Family. I completed my audiology residency at The Methodist Hospital within the Texas Medical Center and at Houston Ear Research Foundation (HERF).
I earned my Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, LA in 2008. I achieved a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2001 from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, LA. My undergraduate degree was also completed at Southeastern Louisiana University in 1998. I possess extensive experience as a medical speech-language pathologist (SLP) and cochlear implant audiologist / SLP prior to opening Autumn Oak Speech, Voice, and Hearing, PLLC.
I am unique because I am a speech pathologist, audiologist, and university adjunct professor for two Texas universities. My education has afforded me to better serve our guests at Autumn Oak. We serve over 1,000 guests from Pearland, Friendswood, Houston, Alvin, Manvel, League City, Santa Fe, Galveston, Woodlands, Katy, and Lafayette, Louisiana. It has been a true honor to serve my guests and allow me to share in their speech and/or hearing journey. I am candid with my recommendations, and I believe that is what others appreciate. My responsibility to you is to share my expertise and educate you, so you are afforded the opportunity to make an educated decision. I promise to walk you through your hearing and speech journey while sharing REALISTIC expected outcomes. Due to my strong ethics, education, and experience, I have been invited to present at a national conference to colleagues regarding audiology practices and services, as well as serve as a board member for the Audiology Quality Consortium.
During my free time, I enjoy volunteering at the local elementary school, volunteering with Houston Area for Parkinson Society and going to my sons’ sporting/extra-curricular events. During my “me” time you will find me reading a historical fiction book or watching a good Netflix movie. However, whichever way you find me, you will probably see an iced coffee with mocha in my hand! Honestly, I wish I could share running marathons as a favorite pastime and carrots in my hand, not coffee, but that is NOT me. My life is quite an adventure enough with my family of 7!

Eshita Anjum M.A., CCC-SLP, Lead Speech Language Pathologist
I was born and raised in Bangladesh and have been residing in Houston since 2009 with my husband, our son, and three fur babies (two cats and a dog). I am multilingual; fluent in Bengali and English and I can comprehend/converse in Hindi. Fun fact about me, 10 year ago, I did not know about the field of speech language pathology. My bachelor’s degree was in Computer Science, and back then, I was working as a realtor/real estate investor with my husband. A life changing event introduced me to this wonderful field, and I found the true calling of my life.
I earned my master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Houston in 2019. Soon after completing my clinical fellowship at Autumn Oak, I started working full time here. However, I always like to challenge myself. So, once or twice a month, I work in the hospitals in a medical setting (inpatient, outpatient, and acute care rehab) to grow my clinical skills. I am certified in the Lee Silverman Voice Training (LSVT) method for patients with Parkinson’s Disease. My experience here at Autumn Oak has been rewarding in every possible way. At Autumn Oak, patient care comes first and as a Lead Speech Language Pathologist, my job is to ensure that all our therapists provide quality care to our patients consistently. I specialize in diagnosing and treating adult patients who experienced a stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s Disease, or who needs an augmentative and alternative communication system (AAC) to communicate.
In my free time, I love to watch movies, read books, travel, and spend time with my family. I am excited and look forward to working with all my future clients.
Vilma Sandoval, Bilingual Speech Language Pathology Assistant, Social Media Manager

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Houston in 2017. While in school, Dr. Saltarrelli was my professor and soon became my mentor. In 2018, I received my license and started working as a speech language pathology assistant at Autumn Oak. As a bilingual, I’m a strong advocate for bilingualism/multilingualism as it holds a dear place in my heart. I believe the acquisition of more than one language is a strong asset anyone can have.
Working at Autumn Oak has been an amazing experience! Meeting all our patients from different walks of life and seeing how our services can enhance their quality of life is a gift I do not take for granted!
Taryn Kelm M.S., CCC-SLP, Speech Language Pathologist, Marketing Director
I was born and raised in Mauriceville, Texas (Southeast Texas). I met my husband at Lamar University where we both received our bachelor’s degrees, and I moved with him to Houston after we were married in 2019. I now live in Friendswood with my husband and our very hyper and very cute dog. When I’m not at work I’m typically with friends or family, volunteering at church, at the thrift store, completing yet another craft project, baking, or taking a fitness class. I am very passionate about helping people and God has blessed me with so many opportunities to do so.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders from Lamar University in 2018. I then attended Lamar’s Master’s program and received my master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology in May of 2020. Since joining the healthcare workforce, I have not experienced a more supportive, ethical, and caring work environment and I feel very blessed to work for such an amazing company. In my time at Autumn Oak, I have learned so much about therapy services, new technologies to help my patients, teamwork, relationships, and what it means to be the best peer and SLP I can be.
I hope to continue to grow at Autumn Oak alongside our amazing team and push myself to learn all I can in the realm of speech and communication.
Nancy Alvarez M.S., CCC-SLP, Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist
I was born in Beaumont, Texas but raised in the small town of China, Texas. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences at Lamar University in 2017, then pursued my master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2020 at Lamar University.
I love playing sports just as much as watching them. I have played soccer since the age of 6 and continued to play throughout high school. Being outdoors is where you can find me on my days off. You can find me taking a jog, playing disc golf, or walking my dog. I enjoy traveling, attending concerts, and spending quality time with family.
One of the many things I love about my role as a speech-language pathologist is the ability to improve an individual’s quality of life. I can treat various communication and swallowing difficulties using an evidence-based approach. I strive to be up-to-date on current research, clinical skills, and personal growth as a professional to best serve my community.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Speech Language Pathology & Audiology from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2016. I started my journey to this incredible career when my cousin got a cochlear implant and soon after started receiving speech therapy services. I knew then that I wanted to help others to communicate and make a difference in their lives, just as much as her team has made such an impact in hers. I strive to be that for the families I serve at Autumn Oak.
I am thankful to be a part of the Autumn Oak team! We are professional, compassionate, and we love what we do!”
Dallas Maxcey, Hearing Aid Technician/Administration Support

I currently own two dogs, Scout and Elvis, that I love with all my heart.
Some of my favorite things to do are yoga, gardening, and playing with my dogs.
I enjoy doing any volunteer work whenever I can. In the past I have given out care packages to the homeless, participated in the meals on wheels program, and have been a teacher’s assistant for bible classes at my family’s church.
When I first started working at Autumn Oak I quickly felt right at home and have loved every moment here. Watching patients grow and improve has been a very rewarding experience.
